THE LITTLE ASTRONAUT - KUBA SZUTKOWSKI (2022)

Written by Dutchman Jeroen Horrevorts and directed by Polish filmmaker Kuba Szutkowski, The Little Astronaut (De Klein Astronaut) is a beautiful and deceptively simple dramedy about an Amsterdam-based couple coming to terms with loss. Although an LGBT film on one level, it successfully normalises what is a perfectly normal family, and displays wonderful performances from its small cast. You will likely be in tears by the end.
