RALPH - ALEX WINCKLER (2008)

Alex Winckler, who studied film at Columbia University, New York, went on to direct for British teen soap opera, Hollyoakes after being nominated for a BAFTA with the comic love story, Ralph. Ralph was his graduation film and tells the story of a teenage boy who arrives in France to meet the French girl he met in England. However, his lack of preparation finds him struggling to locate her, and needs the help of a local waitress. When he finally finds the girl he has come to France to meet, he finds her less than welcoming, and realises he may have given his heart to the wrong girl.
