PROJECT GENESIS - ALESSIO FAVA (2014)

Directed and animated by Italian filmmaker Alessio Fava, with Matteo Lanfranchi credited as a co-writer, Project Genesis is a simple idea that flips the usual Apple launches on its head. Instead of an Apple CEO launching a new gadget a la Steve Jobs, it is the computers themselves that are launching the human race. It seems computers were in need of more mobility and better access to power outlets. Fava usually works as a commercials director in his native country, but went on to make a feature film called Yuri Esposito after this stop motion animation.
